The Malaysia Dodgeball Federation recently revealed their squads, and gave each player a write up. For those that missed it we’ve put it all together here!

12 – Muhamad Heidy Mohd Yusoff (C)

Muhamad Heidy Mohd Yusoff, 28 years old. Born in Penang, Malaysia. Jersey No 12. Has been playing dodgeball for 9 years. This is the third time he has been appointed as the Captain of the Malaysia Men’s Team.

1 – Tan Yong Yang

Tan Yong Yang. 26 years old. Born in Selangor. Jersey No 1. Has been playing dodgeball for 6 and a half years. Representative of his size (a big guy), his throws are just as hard and fast. Opponents would find his balls hard to evade

3 – Tan Hong Yee

Tan Hong Yee. 25 years old. Born in Klang, Selangor. Jersey no. 3. Has been playing dodgeball for 6 years. His ambidexterity, a rare talent in the game of dodgeball, makes him a unique and valuable player.

5 – Vernon David Apostol

Vernon David Apostol. 28 years old. Born in Kota Kinabalu. Jersey No. 5. His enthusiasm on the court is contagious and is constantly a driving force in the team. On and off the court, he has always been a source of motivation to the players.

11 – Goh Kheng Boon

Goh Kheng Boon. 26 years old. Born in Pahang. Jersey No. 11. An old timer in the dodgeball scene, his consistency and experience has proven to be a valuable asset to the team.

18 – Austin Hii Hsiang Wei

Austin Hii Hsiang Wei, 26 years old. Born in WP Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jersey No 18. Has been playing dodgeball for 7 years. Coupled with his experience, his team work and skills helps place the team on the path of success.

21 – Ng Char Jun

Ng Char Jun, 27 years old. Born in Sarawak, Malaysia. Jersey no 21. Has been playing dodgeball for almost 7 years. Well known for his incredible and unique dodging skills. On top of that, he is a very committed player to the team.

23 – Fong Wee Liam

Fong Wee Liam. 27 years old. Born in Kuala Lumpur. Jersey No. 23. Despite being a new member of the National team, his camaraderie spirit has quickly integrated him into the team and thereby, making him a valuable player

27 – Yee Jia Lun

Yee Jia Lun. 22 years old. Born in Selangor. Jersey No. 27. Despite being a newcomer to the sport, he has grown exponentially, quickly earning him a spot in the National Team

30 – Chai Jun Lam

Chai Jun Lam. 24 years of age. Born in Kuala Lumpur. Jersey No. 30. His hardwork and relentlessness towards improving himself has gotten him a place in the National Men’s Team.

66 – Muhammad Shahrul Azmi

Muhammad Shahrul Azmi, 22 years old . Born in WP Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jersey No 66. Has been playing dodgeball for 6 years. No better word could describe this player but the term ‘silent killer’ on the court .

98 – Aaron Chong

Aaron Chong. 20 years old. Born in Kuala Lumpur. Jersey No. 98. As the youngest player in the National Men’s Team, he has proven himself worthy as a talented and skillful player with his amazing moves on the court.
