How long does a dodgeball match last?

At the start of a set, 1 player from each team is sent to the jump ball circle in the middle of the court opposite their own infield. The referee throws the ball up for a jump-ball with the two players contesting the ball with the aim to hit it back to their team in their infield

How Is The Game Played?

Single-Ball Dodgeball gameplay consists of both passing and attacking. A pass is counted as a ball thrown between a teams infield and outfield. An attack is a ball thrown at the opposition teams infield. A team is allowed to pass the ball between their infield and outfield a maximum of 4 times before having to attack. A successful attack involves hitting the opposition player, if this happens the player that the ball hits moves to the outfield. If the attack results in the ball being caught the opposition team now has service.
