Japan Dodgeball Association
Japan Dodgeball Association (JDBA) is the official governing body of Dodgeball in the country. It is a member and officially recognized member of the World Dodgeball Governing Body known as the World Dodgeball Association.
Japan Dodgeball Association was established in Minato-ku, Tokyo in February 1991. We have been incorporated as a foundation since April 2009.
At present, single-ball games are popular in Japan. Since its history spans over 100 years, the image of “Dodgeball” has been shared throughout Japan for three generations. This has the strength of stability, but it also has the weakness of not being able to leave the stereotype.
Therefore, we are working to further develop this so that both the five-ball game and the single-ball game will become the image of a “dodgeball”.
By recommending both, we think that traffic between countries will be activated, the age group will expand, and new markets will expand.
We believe this will greatly increase the value of Dodgeball.
